How much is the minimum order?
The minimum order is £20.
Do you collect and deliver?
Yes, i offer a convenient collection and delivery service within 4 miles of Hassocks.
Collection and delivery are free within 4 miles of Hassocks.
For addresses outside of the 4-mile area, a travel charge of 25p per mile applies to the additional distance.
I will arrange a suitable tme with you for collection and return your freshly ironed items directly to your door.
How quickly will I get my ironing back?
I aim to return your freshly ironed clothes within 24-72 hours of collection.
I will let you know when your order is ready and arrange a convenient time for delivery.
Do you iron bedding?
Yes, I iron a range of bedding, including sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases.
If you have a particular item you're unsure about, just ask and i will be happy to help.
Do you iron uniforms?
Yes, I can iron uniforms and workwear, providing that they are suitable for ironing according to the care label.
If you're unsure about a certain item, just ask and i will be happy to advise.
How should I provide my clothes?
Please provide clean, dry items in a suitable bag or basket.
Please ensure that pockets have been checked and items are ready to be ironed.
Will my clothes be folded or hung?
Depending on the item, clothes will be neatly folded or returned on hangers with protective covers.
What happens if something can't safely be ironed?
I always check the care label befor ironing each item, If an item cannot be safely ironed, i won't iron it and i will let you know.
How do I pay?
Payment is due on delivery, before your ironing is handed over.
I accept cash, card payments and bank transfers.
Will my clothes be kept separate from other customers' clothes?
Yes, every customer's order is kept together throughout the whole process and clearly identified using an order number. Your clothes are never mixed with another customer's order.
What happens to my clothes while you have them?
Your clothes are treated with care and kept securely while they are with me.
From the moment I receive them until they are returned to you. They're sorted, ironed, checked and neatly packaged ready for delivery.
Will I know when my ironing is ready?
Yes, I will let you know when your ironing is ready and arrange a convenient time for delivery.
What if you ruin something expensive?
I take great care with every item I iron and always follow the care instructions on the garment.
If an item is damaged while in my care, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can discuss the matter with you and agree an appropriate way forward.
What if something goes missing?
Every order is checked when received and before it's returned, and your items remain together throughout the process.
If you believe an item is missing, please contact me as soon as possible so that i can check your order and look into the matter.
Will the price suddenly be much more than I expected?
No. My prices are clearly set ot on my Prices & Packages page, so you'll know the cost before your ironing is completed.
If there is anything I'm unsure about, I will discuss it with you beforehand.
What if I'm embarrassed by how much ironing I've got?
There's no need to be embarrassed!
Life gets busy, and irioning can quickly build up.
Whatever the size of your basket, I'm here to help and will treat your clothes with care.
For particularly large orders, please get in touch beforehand so I can confirm availability and arrange a suitable collection time.
